I was enticed thru a website advertisement for a sample trial of the BellaBrite Product. I was required to put my charge card number in for a "minimal shipping fee". This was on August 24th. I received the "FREE" sample product the following day on my doorstep. Today, August 27th, I checked my bank statements and this "company" had stolen $78.41 from my bank account! I called and told them that I did not order anything other than the "FREE TRIAL" sample and they said that I had ten days to let them know that I wanted to cancel my membership. I explained that I DID NOT signup for a "MEMBERSHIP", I only wanted the "FREE" trial to see if the product worked on my teeth, since I have veneers. The person that was in customer service stated that I waited over ten days so it was to late to cancel the fee. He actually lied and said that I placed the order on the 16th of August, when my husband was in the hospital 45 minutes away! I wasn't on a website buying products when my husband was in critical condition.
This person at BellaBrite stated that even though my bank only processed the charge on the 26th, that I had "ordered it on the 16th" how is this even possible?
I tried to get back in touch with them on the Free Trial return policy and it will not connect, as I have no intention of keeping anything affiliated with them and fully intend to get all of my funds. This is a case of fraud and misrepresentation. I will be cancelling this through my bank and I advise people to do this as well. This is a real case of fraud, make them pay for it by getting your money back. It takes nothing to have your bank do the research and this will shut them down because they won't get paid! I now see this has been going on for almost 4yrs, why hasn't our government shut them down?
