I bought a 46" Samsung LCD TV in Aug '09 at Best Buy in Elkridge, MD store #263 and last week the it won't power on at all. I called best buy's customer service on 18 Aug 12 and after being disconnected twice, I spoke with Megan and she told to call the geek squad to set up an appt to have someone come out. I called the geek squad and spoke with Paul and he gave me an appt for today (25 Aug 12 at 8:00-12:00) and it would be 99.00 which is not a problem. I told him what the problem was and he said he will have a tech come out and attempt to fix the issue and if he couldn't fix it, then he will have to bring the tv to the shop. The tech guys from geek squad showed up this morniing at 9:00 but they couldn't fix the problem and they wer about to leave and I asked them if they were going to take the TV and I would have to call the geek squad again to get another appointment. I called geek squad around 10:30 and spoke with Megan again. I told her what the issue was and she told me that they (Paul from geek squad) sent the wrong techs out this morning. They were suppose to send home repair techs not troublshoot techs. Now they still want me to pay 99.00 for them sending the wrong techs to my house to fix my tv. Also, I would have to pay 150.00 for the home repair visit and pay for parts when the TV is fixed. I don't mind paying what I owe, but I shouldn't have to pay 99.00 when it was clearly their fault for sending out the wrong techs.
