1. I went to the Internet to purchase DVD's from http://www.AfricMovies.com/. I chose eight movies on DVD from AfricanMovies.com (AfricMovies.com). I sent a money order totaling $31,95, made payable to BAE as instructed. I have waited for 3 months and have not received my merchandise. I have contacted the company numerous times requesting the merchandise or a full refund of my money to no avail. On July 2, after I threatened to report the company to the Better Business Bureau I received an e-mail stating that the business owner had been in the hospital and would be shipping orders as soon as he received a reply stating whether I still wanted the DVDs or a refund. To date, he has done nethier. This constitutes an Internet scam or fraud. I am contacting you to intercede on my behalf to get my money back and to deal with this person so that others will not be defrauded. The company can also be contacted on www.eBay.com (Nigerian Movies on eBay. Use (KAYCESR) to veiw thier listing. Today, 8/20, I discovered that AfricanMovies is listed as a afraudulent website on SCAM.com. The web site is still up and running.
