Unbelievable! Ziinga.com is a complete scam! Tonight I received a message on my iPhone that my number had made me Apple's winner and to go to www.apple.ca. Wongift.cc to claim my prize. I was completely taken in... I got on the site totally thinking this was ok and followed the prompts. Before I knew it I had won a bid for an iPod and I was asked for credit card info. Before it got to the shipping info I was asked for a scanned copy of my credit card, front and back, my passport and my drivers license. Red flags started going off and I went to the side bar to ask for help, I was then on a live chat... I told them I would not send that information and to cancel my purchase. I was then informed that it would cost $49 US to cancel my purchase and my membership. I had no idea that I had a membership, I was then told I had a Platinum membership with a binding 3 month contract and my credit card will be charged $89.99 monthly. All this for a winning bid of $6.87!! I will be contacting my credit card company in the morning for sure and making a call to the BBB. How do those guys sleep at night?
