Mislead by Larry Swee Agent about property Listing.
A realestate agent took advantage of my level of stress and did not disclose that I was signing a marketing agreement instead of a listing agreement. He rush me through the paper work and did not give me time to read it and brushed away my questions, I feel that he acted dishonestly because he never at any stage told me that I was required to pay them a marketing fee. When I questioned him about why he needed my credit card details he answer was it's because he could not complete the contract unless he had it, I told him I had no money in my visa account but still insisted on having it. My ex husband is a witness to it all. I feel he took advantage of my stressful situation and acted dihonestly and unethically. I am on a widows allowance of just $469.00 per fortnight and if this was disclosed to me I would never had gone with them. I since have rung other real estate agents and this is not a common practise by them. I have listed properties before and have never encounted this before.
In the time the house was on the market he did not take anyone through the house and was constetley telling me that the market was bad, yet other houses were being sold. I asked him to put neg. On the listing and he said it's not the way to do things. (why)
I never once saw a flyer or a newspaper ad he totally relied on the interenet for marketing and enquiries. I feel many people my have had the same problem with them and they should be investigated on their business training and ethics and I cannot afford to pay them and he knew that, as I told him that I had no money.
