We were scammed into purchasing what we thought was the ownership of a Junior suite for 1 week/year at any Sirenis resort. What we found out upon arriving home and doing further research is that this is a time share in disguise! The whole time we were discussing things, they left out all of the important details and when I asked specific questions about what we were entitled to they said what we wanted to hear.
We understood just for becoming a member that they were giving us a free membership to RCI for a year that we could use to exchange our Sirenis value. We at no time knew that the whole deal is nothing but a time share and the suite is never guaranteed when we make our yearly reservations.
I would also like to add that, of my own stupidity, they were pouring drinks the whole time we were meeting. They upgraded our room but not to one that we had actually expected given the money we had paid. The services promised as premium travellors did not happen and we lodged several complaints while there.
Upon arriving home, I wrote a letter to request cancellation of the contract only to be told the email had been read 1 day after the 5 day limit to cancel a service.
We have tried to resolve the matter and have had phone conversations with Sirenis but to no avail. Either way, they have taken our money and because we cancelled future payments, we have lost our membership and our initial investment.
