I found a TOOTH in my Turkey Drumstick

On March 23/12 I cooked a turkey drumstick I previously purchased at my METRO grocery store and when I chewed I found - say what? - a tooth in my turkey drumstick. I rushed to my dentist ASAP who said it wasn't mine. I kept the wrapping and tooth, and after a month of contradictory phone calls and emails from various METRO personnel (they don't seem to have a SOP for this sort of thing), I finally wrote them a letter (to be signed upon receipt) and mailed it the beginning of May. I never received an answer although I requested one. I finally had to phone their customer service (July 25). The upshot: I spoke with Brian Levisauskas, who said, after he spoke with his supervisor, they couldn't figure out it was METROs problem (although it was METRO's packaging). I asked for compensation in my letter and even though I said I would never shop at METRO again (or Food Basics) he offered me a few coupons. I am incensed at the evasive and dismissive way this issue (and I) was treated. I am incensed with METRO's apparent denial of responsibility with this issue. I rarely ever eat (meat) at fast food joints (I can't remember the last time). I am incensed at how lightly this is being treated by a big (somewhat) respected grocery chain. I assume this has happened in the past and they have treated these issues by simply passing off a few coupons. METRO need to get to the root of these issues and clean up their stores and procedures. Seriously.
