I am furious that a young man introduced himself to me as my neighbors grandson trying to earn money for a baseball camp, describing where they live, names, their dogs, etc.
I bought a subscription to be sent to the troops in Iraq to help him out, being my neighbors grandson.
Then I saw my neighbor yesterday and I asked about her grandson, she said she had no grandchildren, then tells me, he told her I am his grandmother.
Nothing but lies came out of his mouth, he told us he'd be back to wash our cars to be neighborly, of course a no show.
These actions are disgraceful, you think you are helping someone out, and it's all lies.
I want to write a letter to the editor of our paper and warn people not to fall for this scheme as I did.
Had I realized I could have canceled in 3 days, I surely would have!
