Purchased some kraft simply cottage cheese 4% and swalled a nice big spoonful when got home toolate to realize that the disgusting taste I was experiencing was rancid cottage cheese! Needless to say I was in the restroom within 2 or 3 hours where I pretty much spent the evening. The freshness date is marked on the bottom and is October 20th. I had put the lid back on the container so I could return it to the san diego national city walmart where I had purchased it, and discovered when I had taken it out of my refridgerator today september 29th that it is covered in dark green spots still 21 days before the expiration date!
