While dinning in the resturant a future employee was training on a laptop 2 seats back from us, video up very loud, making sounds like a bird hitting the wall behind us, CHIRP CHIRP, omg how annoying it became! Like a kid popping gum, but louder! After getting very frustrated I went to the manager and asked her to put the employee somewhere out of sight out of mind, for I can't enjoy my meal! This manager was not going to apologies for anything, period! No discount on our bill, no free pancake syrup, not even a "I am sorry!" which would have been acceptable for me. Other servers proceeded to tell us that there is no other place for training a new employee! Come on now, there's got to be an office in Bob Evans somewhere!!!
