I have the same story as others have written. Paid the $1,500 for 3day event in Cleveland, OH, given enough information to make someone dangerous to themselves if they proceeded on their own. Paid the $40,000 PLUS ALL airfare and hotel and food, ect. To all three destinations, California and Nevada being across the country for a resident of Ohio. Other expenses I did not add to my losses, wages from time off work, the $50.00 each bus rider had to contribute to purchase the junk 2-3 people decided was necessary to have for everyone to act like animals for the sole purpose of entertaining and gaining armando's favour. If so much of your time was not wasted listening to LOUD music waiting for armando to show up everyday, I would not even have counted my travel as a loss, because you could have had time to enjoy the area. We were promised the opportunity to use "Armondo's personal" hard money lender's who would lend 90% of the money needed and they would be on site so we could buy the properties shown to us. NONE OF IT IS TRUE! There were NO hard money lenders. Armando stood up and asked students there if they would lend money to other students to use in return for 1/2 the profit. This is not the lenders that were promised. These promises of "mentors"to guide you step by step "money lenders" on site, and the ability to purchase while in California, gave me the confidence to give my life savings to Armando. My thoughts were that I would have to work hard, but this was a no brainer. All the resources were there and he was saying you needed NO MONEY, I still had $10,000 of my own money to bring to the table. I graduated college and have a good job, but to retire you can never make enough working for someone else. I Know it is impossible to "get rich quick" you have to work for it. I really thought this was legit! I at this point have spent a year putting time and hard work into this—The truth is if you do not have enough money to buy with cash a foreclosed house and the money for the repairs, in this economy you probably will not be able to buy a foreclosure. Myself and Others teamed up and tried to get a house on multiple occasions, even had accepted offers, but it takes too many people to invest $10,000 or $20,000 to get enough cash to buy and rehab a property with any profit left to make it possible. Yes, Armado has a "money back" promise, but he's covered, you won't get any money back. Iwould like to give some info to others— Join your local real estate investors club, they will teach you all you need and help you to succeed for the price of yearly membership! (about $100.00) I wish someone would have told me!
