Received e mail from Carlos Maputo allegedly of Music Group Studios, 111, Western Main Road, St. James, Trinidad and Tobago requesting shipment of 17 Doors valued at £3,400 to be shipped by a freight company called UpVille Freight whose charges amounted to £2,708.91. It was agreed that the goods and freight would be paid ahead of shipment. This was agreed and payment was requested by transfer direct to an account that I set up purely for this transaction. The method of payment was declined and a request to pay by credit card was requested by Carlos Maputo.
No trace of Music Group Studios or UpVille Freight was found on Google so the method of payment was declined. Even if the funds are initially cleared by the credit card company the holder of the card can subsequently refuse the transaction and a chargeback would result.
