When I moved from my previous address and I had my gas shut off, the landlord was contacted by PGW to update the meter to one that can be read from the street, upon doing so PGW said they discovered that the meter had been under billing me for about 2yrs. And they sent me a bill to my new address indicating the amount they thought I should have been billed. The bill was $1,093.18, I don't understand how PGW could have under billed me for 2yrs. And not pick up on it, and I do'nt know anyone who gets a bill and wonder should they be paying more! My gripe is since PGW didn't pick up on it until I moved they need to take it as a loss, and if I hadn't moved when I did would they still be under charging me. I don't feel I should have to pay for something thart wasn't my fault and that wasn't picked up in a more timely fashion, 2yrs. Wow!!!
