I was noticing pop up of Slimband everywhere. So just look into it out of curiousity. And In no time flat I had sales people contacting me none stop... Saying they all had it... And I emphasize that they always right till after the surgery told me "YOU WILL NEVER HAVE TO DIET AGAIN!!!"... And I had seen that this is there selling factor in their ads and Infomercials as well!!! I said i would like to research it. And of course they suggested I speak and talk and get info from other's who had had it... All of which I found out were working for Slimband... They ask you of all the diets you have tried. Then tell you you will NEVER have to DIET AGAIN... So once signed up they are to send you a cd and binder of information... And never even after many phone calls did I receive it as promised... But with that being said I now understand why as they said oh we forgot to send you this and gave me the Cd and binder after surgery... All of which contained a diet you must follow... I repeat DIET!!! So back home I flew and lost 25 lbs in the first stage of eating broth and pureed foods... But after the healing period and time to go back on regular foods found it it is very restricted and time consuming... And almost impossible to stay on track with a bust schedule... But followed it anyway. With no more weight being lost!!! As well after surgery they basically wipe your hands and send you on your own... You can make numerous calls but they never answer or return them... So you are left alone with no help, no guareentee, and a big fat bill... I have afriend who joined weight watchers at the same time and we compared meal allowances... And it was a joke!!! She ate way better food. Had choices of eating out. And it was soooo much more flexible!!! She dropped 50Lbs in four months. And has continued to lose 50 more and has no problem fitting it into her schedule and really enjoys the wide variety of food and is satisfyed!!! I wish I could say the same... I have followed the DIET they have sent and am not getting anywhere. And am getting no help or support from them either... If you look at their ads and Infomercials this appears to me as false advertising!!! They are just after money and prey on the weak... And their is no body weaker than an overweight person!!! Shame on them!!! I am trying to let people know about their lies and falseness so they too do not suffer as I am!!! What has become of people today? No morals or compassion!!! Very sad... Also I would like to add that this has put me in a severe depression... So now I have that to deal with thanks to them!!! Terrible, Terrible people... And Company!!!
