Like the previous person, I received a letter from realizable research and marketing sweepstakes saying I won $56,000.
They enclosed a check for $3750 to cover insurance fees and I had to call before I could deposit it, which I did.
However I went to my bank and ask the manager about the check, she did some research on the company and the "good checks" had slight differences than the one I had in my hand. The phone number was missing, the type of font used was different and the signature was different!!! She showed me some "bad" checks from the company and were exactly like mine.
I was still hoping she was wrong so I decided to call newbridge bank, that's were the check was written and they told me that the check was no good.
Don't fall for this scam.
