Mar. 30th. Phil Cooper requested payment of $684.63 (USD) cashier cheque (TD BANK located at 401 Concord Pike Wilmington DE 19803 -International Swift Code TDOMCATTOR) to expediate the resale of our timeshare in Mexico, which we sent to him. The buyers were already lined up but did not like the financing available at the resort where our timeshare was located and they were getting independant financing. Our money was safe according to Mr. Cooper as the buyer had already committed to the purchase and TriCorp had a money-back guarantee if the sale did not go through.
Well three closing dates have come and gone. This past week Mr. Cooper, due to the phone system going down was unreachable— but assured us via email that he would call this Monday& but that didn't happen.
I also talked with a Mr. Tony Erikson when the deal began and he explained the buyers were committed and had already placed a down payment of over $3,200.00 that they certainly would not want to forfeit. We were even given a confirmation number DPE0147629.
We are still waiting for the closing papers to be sent to us as Phil Cooper has said to expect them any day. We maybe waiting awhile.
We hope he is caught before he takes anybody else into this scam.
