I was browsing the internet looking for a new golden retriever puppy so our other golden retriever could have a friend. I came across this DREAMGOLDENRETRIEVER website and me and my family fell in love with Meki and Nancy. So I asked the owner how much they were selling them for. The person got back to be using a live account going under the name Helena Williams and sent me this e-mail.
"Hello and thanks for the interest you have for my babies. Our Babies are 12 weeks 4 days old and their names are Meki and Nancy. Nancy is our darling angelic girl while the male is called Meki. We love them so much but its unfortunate that we cant even give them the love and attention they deserve as pets due to the following reasons. We just relocated to Seattle, WA For our new job which is keeping us very busy that we can no longer take very good care of them. We traveled up here together with Meki and Nancy.in Addition to the fact that we are very busy our new apartment here wont allow Meki and Nancy reasons being that, pets are not allowed in our apartment as instructed by our Landlord so we have to respect his roles in order to live in peace with him by giving the babies out for adoption. So we spoke with their vet and he advised us to give them out for adoption as soon as we can because it will not be good for the puppies to be left alone while we are at work. So we have been given a maximum of one week to give them up for adoption since we pleaded with our land lord to give us some time to look for just a good and perfect home for them so that is the reason i have to look for a loving and caring home for them, where they will be showered with all the love and affection they deserve, i hope you understand. I have a few Questions for you and i hope you won't mind if i ask you a few questions:

Will you send us updates about Nancy and Meki from time to time and pictures?

I am just being concerned with the type of home Meki and Nancy will be going into, so that is why i am curious to know how you will take care of them. We love them so much and we want to make sure Meki and Nancy will be going to a family that will show them the affection they deserve. They are health guaranteed, A KC registered, Vet Checked and will come along with all their papers, diapers, dog blanket, play toys, crate and food menu. They are very playful and go along with kids and other home pets... They love to be held and cuddled and sometimes wants all the attention for them. So if you can stand the chance of taking Nancy or Meki home... But i am sorry because i will first of all need to know the answers to my questions before i will know if we can proceed with the adoption. I will like you to take a good look at the pictures of Meki and Nancy attached to this email and tell me if you will like to take Nancy or Meki the Male puppy or Both of them Home with you. It sounds very convincing like an actual concerned pet owner. It had me fooled so I replied to the email answering the questions and she immediately responded to me with text message. What I found to be weird was that she was texting me from a yahoo sms using a made up fake number. She also emailed me back with this email.
" Hello, (my name) thanks for your quick response i am so impress with your interest and love toward my puppies they are all word mention with no health defect to adopt them as part of your family and they will make a greet member of your family all i will like to hear from you is to promise me that you will take very good care of them and always send me pictures so that i can know how they are doing over there. All i need is a good and caring home for the puppies where they will be spoiled with much love and care. I can assure you that i will do my very best to make sure you have the puppies send over to you i will like to know if you will like to have the puppies delivered to you at your house address or you will like to pick them up at the airport so all you will have to do in order to proceed with the adoption process of the puppies is to pay for their transportation fee to your location i did contact the delivery company that will be transporting the puppies over to you at your location and they said that it will cost you $150 to have one of the puppies delivered to you at your location and $300 to have the two puppies delivered to you at your location with all needed facility and you will be paying the money to the delivery company so you really have nothing to worry about as the puppies will be accompanied by two of their pet delivery agents who will handle the puppies over to you at your location so i will be needing your full delivery information in order to proceed with the change of ownership of the puppies to your names and location and as soon as i am done with the transfer of ownership i will be taking the puppies to the delivery company to have them registered for a flight to your location so do get back to me with the following information that i will be using to send the puppies over to you

Again I replied to this she even sent like 20 pictures of the dogs. And this was the last email she sent me before the "Air pet delivery company" sent me an email which appeared in my SPAM folder. That was what set off a warning for me.
"Hello, (name) i am just coming back from the delivery Company to register the puppies for a flight to your location and the delivery Company said that they will email you with the puppies full flight details and how you are going to make the payment for their flight ticket so as soon as they contact you and you make the payment to them do let me know so that i will know when the puppies will be arriving their new home i know i will be missing them so much but providing them with a good and caring home make me more happy and i also hope that you will keep to your promises of taking good care of them for me as promise thanks and God bless you waiting"
They kept up the act the whole way through. But then I got a call from 253-656-0869 and I must have said hello 5-6 times and no one responded but I could hear that someone was on the phone. I eventually hung up and it was really weird because within 30secs Helena texted me via yahoo asking why I didn't answer the Pet Movers phone call and asked me 3 times if I had gotten there confirmation e-mail. So I check and sure enough I had two in my spam folder. I opened up the e-mail and it looked completely fake and tacky with all these broken links, really bad misspellings, and horrible graphics. Then what really made me super suspicious was that the Pet deliver company wanted me to send the $300 payment to a Western Union in Irving Texas. Like hello if this was an actual legitimate transaction I would be paying the company on the website not sending a wire transfer to a person named LaToya Nelson. So I got online typed in her name plus the word scam and a lot of Scam complaints came out. So that got me extremely angry and sadden because me and my whole family got our hopes up for nothing. All the while that I'm doing my research she is continuously sending me text messages asking if I have already paid. And kindy being very pushy about it. I told her that I knew it was a scam and that she wasn’t going to fool me like she or he for all I know did everyone else. Then the person got aggressive and texted me that they were going to report me to the FBI for animal abuse... I don't even know how that was even relevant because supposedly the puppies were still with her. I told her go ahead because I had already filled a report with the internet crime complaint center and I'm about to just file a report with my local law enforcement agency. This is truly very sad. I just wanted to put this up here so no one else can get scammed. When I was on the internet apparently they put different animals like bulldogs, tea cup yorkies, and golden retrievers. Remember a business would never ask you to send your money to a Western Union. This is the email that the "Pet Movers" sent me.
