I was searching on the internet for Yorkshire puppies. I came across an ad and responded to it with thoughtful questions. This is the response I received:

Sorry for my late reply, I am so impressed with your inquiry about adopting my puppies. I have been looking for a home for them for a while now but not only a home but a forever home for them. Firstly let me tell you about them. They are both 12weeks old. They are called Tina and Dino. They are all akc registered. I am not out to sell them, all i want is to give them out to a home or family that is able to spoil them with the love and care that they deserve, so all i need of you is to assure me you will take good care of them because i don't want to give you my puppies out and discover they are not handled with care. I will be traveling for a visit with my Daughter, so there will be no body that will be taking care of the puppies while i travel, so i decided to give them out for adoption only to good and loving homes. So you just need to assure me you will take good care of my puppies. Below are some of their descriptions.
About The Female Tina:
-She is house Trained and Potty.
-She does not bark a lot.
-She eat 2 times daily and at afternoons she drinks Milk.
-She Is socialized with kids and other house hold pets.
-She is a portable baby.
-She gets angry when you shout at her, so don't do that.
About The Male Dino:
-He is house and potty Trained.
-He eats 2 times a day and drinks milk at noon.
-He likes to keep him self away from the crowd but is also socialized.
-He's also a portable baby.
-He barks when he sees strangers.

Sorry for all this Questions (we mean not to offend you) but just that we really need a loving and caring home for these puppies.
We were located here in the US in Honolulu. So if you can stand the chance of taking these puppies, you are going to pay is just the transportation fee of the puppies and that will cost you $180 each and $360 both. So please get back to me asap so that we can immediately proceed with the delivery arrangement of the puppies to you. Thanks And God Bless You
We emailed back and forth and I even provided my name and address. It was afterwards (!) that I Googled the email address and found all the scams associated with her. Needless to say she was not the little old lady trying to re-home her pups. Since she had my email and cell phone number, I did send her one final email with a link to the scam information and told her not to contact me again or I would report her to the authorities. She actually texted me on my cell phone and said that someone was using her email to run a scam. Well, isn't that too bad? Here is the link to the other scam report:

Fortunately, I did not part with any money. Still, a lesson was learned. Do LOTS of research and SEE your pup before you provide any detailed information.
