I went to best buy to have my computer upgrade, I would like the stress the fact that my computer wasn in perfect working condition before I went then. I bought a new graphics card and PSU (power supply unit) and since I don't usually do my own computer work I thought I'd have geek squad do it. $50 each part to install and 30 dollars for a cleaning to the inside, the guy kept trying to get me to buy the $199 plan, which I didn't want to do, he goes to the back says there are bugs in my computer and that if I didn't get the plan they couldn't service my computer, thus they forced my hand. After getting the plan I had to wait to the next day because 7 hours wasn't enough time to install a graphic card and a PSU, I spent $200 for the plan and install on top of the $400 for the parts I take it home to find my computer dies when I try to play a game on it. Needless to say I was annoyed by the fact that after a 16 hour strectch they still managed to not test their work, also they didn't even clean the inside of the computer, the reason I "had" to get the plan in the first place... I've taken it back to the geek squad and they've had it over night, yet when I call for a status they've told me, "we are still running tests on it" and when I asked "How long do you think they tests will take or can you give me a time frame" they replied "I don't know". Also when I took it back in a tech said I should try re-rolling my current driver, but the representitive that was helping me didn't know how to do it, so I had to do it myself while in the store. This entire experienece just seems to be long and drawn out, with tech who seem less quailified than I am to be working in computer repair, which is very discerning as I have basic computer knowledge and no computer repair experience aside from the basics... Hope this helps when your in the store and they are hounding you about buying one of their plans remember their costomer service is horried and they can't even keep a working computer up when they are just install some hardware...
