David Smith called me up on the phone and said his company could lend me $500.00 but i would have to go to wal-mart and purchase a greeen dot card and put $130.00 on it to show i was in good faith in paying the loan back. I did that and called him back and he took the number of the card and said he was going to install the $500.00 on it and then he woukd give me a pin to get the cash out. Then he said he had to pay taxes on the $500.00 and foir me to go buy another green dot card and put $200.00 on it and i refused. I told him i think he was rippinbg me off. He assured me he wasn/t and i hung up on him. I went home and called the green dot company and they told me the money had been used off the card, and that i would not get it back. So i called this davidx smith and i told him he did rip me off and he said he would call me right back and he did not. So i want tgo file this report so they don't do it to someone else.
