Had a HDD from a defunct laptop that I needed the data transferred over to my new laptop - seemed like a simple process. However, when I went back to get the laptop - I was told there was no data on the HDD except for a folder labeled with some one else's name other than mine. I told them they had mixed up the HDD and of course they said that could never happen. Even after showing them the receipts of the purchase of the HDD that it was a Toshiba and they returned a Seagate to me - still it must me who mixed them up. Really? I think they are the ones who would have multiple HDD sitting around, not me. So no I have some one else's HDD and NO DATA. Seems to me they robbed my of my HDD and my personal data. I am thinking there is a crime involved here.
