Getting ripped off by tony roberts on a day to day basis getting ripped off by tony roberts on a day to day basis

Now, let me tell you about my self first of all, I am an 18 year old male who was struggling to find work
in my area (as is everyone else) with not very many opportunities to gain work and limited experience in customer service. I applied for TTM online which was under the heading of "junior management" i applied and the next day i
was called back asking to come in for an interview.

Thinking this was a brilliant opportunity for me to actually gain work i snapped it up, i had a 10 minute interview with a
lad called karl, possibly the biggest dick i have ever met. The next day got a call back to go out on an "observation day" now this was basically me and the other observer walking round the "field" for 8 hours just watching him go door to door and try and get applications. Very boring.

The day after i was told i had got the job and needed to dress smarter than what i was, which was a black shirt, tie, waistcoat, pants and proper shoes, so i went and spent another 250 on a full suit.

The day after i was sent into "atmosphere" which is basically practice our pitch, blast woeful music so you cant hear what the next person is saying and work on what we need working on. Now our pitch was basically all lies, telling people that
they should of gotten an information pack from talktalk and bt openzone which were never send out or as far as i know there are no such information packs, lulling people into signing up because they are fearing that they have been
missed out and are being over charged. Now it didnt matter who the customer was with we always told them that they were being over charged and could save upto 500 a year, even though they could be getting a better deal somewhere else. We were always told to constantly ask for the customers phone saying that we needed to do a line check on them to see if they were eligible for the free service broadband and home phone, even though everyone is eligible and no line
check was ever needed! We only used this so we could gain access to their homes. Now when we were in the houses of the customer we were told to take control of them and demand a cup of coffee or something like that so you will
be there longer. We were also told to build a relationship with the customer making friends with them, and often taking advantage of them. We would do the line check and tell them there was good news and bad news, good news you do qualify, bad news is there is nothing we can do today for you, just put you on a 14 day exchange all lies,
they always qualified and the second we ordered it through they were automatically put into a new contract with talktalk.

We would often take sensitive information from the customer which always seemed rather dodgey to me.

We were told whenever we signed someone up the money would go through 3 weeks later, 3 WEEKS! It doesnt
seem that bad because we were told that each signup is worth 30, but we had to try and support ourselves for that 3 week period when we were not getting paid.

Now out of all the signups i did over my 6 week period there i never got paid for, i have worked it out and i am owed roughly 400, i asked tony why i have not gotten paid and he came out with oh they must of just cancelled now i took the liberty of getting all their phone numbers of all the people i signed up, rang them and all but 1 had cancelled... I often worked 14 hour days, getting up at 7am and usually getting back home at 10/11pm, only to find that tony Roberts took my hard earned money and put it in his bank and not mine.

Taking advantage of young adults who are trying to find work and being ripped off in the process.

We were constantly promised that we would get to leadership and be making a 6 figure sum per year lies!

I took the liberty to network with an owner down south and asked how much he earned per year, his response was round about 20,000 - 25,000 a year, only owners who skip commissions will earn more it says it all really doesnt it!

Looking back i wish i had never went on this because i wasted most of my money on road trips because you would usually need about 150 to get through the week, with food, petrol money, accommodation rent and other such things, all of which was not reimbursable from the company, the only way you would get the money back is to get people
signed up, thats if tony would let you have your money.

I wasted the vast majority of my money on this job and needlessly put nearly 3000 miles on my car clock because of trips into the field.

In the 6 weeks or so that i was an employee of TTM global i seen a high turnover of staff, atleast 50 people came and went, which i am not surprised at one least bit, because we were all being ripped off and were basically working terrible hours in terrible conditions for no money and to line the pockets of those in power over you sounds like david Cameron doesnt it?

I urge none of you to ever work for these scamming b*stards, and if you do/have worked for TTM before i urge you all to report them to trading standards or some other form of government watchdog.

I know i have, will you? We need to stop these people before they take advantage of more young people all over the UK, it is effectively slave labour.
