Credit Card Fiasco!
So, while I'm sitting there listening to their sales pitch on the mortgage process, Darrin brings up their credit card program. What a deal! You can have your credit card debt wiped away and get them removed from your credit report. Wow, can you do that? The logical answer is... Apparently not.
I decided (foolheartedly) to go for it. They told me the process would take 30 days. Terriffic! That would have the debt and credit report taken care of before my payment would even show late... NOT!
It has been 3 months. Yes, it's still on my credit report. I was told NOT to make payments while this process was underway. I didn't. Now I have 90 day lates on my credit report. My score went from the 720's to the 520's. I couldn't rent a tent now.
Thank you Titan's Quest, Inc. Now if I get kicked out of my house and foreclosed on, I can't even rent an apartment.
