My wife filled out a survey from a popup on www.jcpenny.com regarding education. The survey offered a free sample of perfume for taking the survey. We received a large bottle on unisex cologne, which was surprising as we were expecting a small sample of some sort. Several weeks later, a charge of $95.00 was deducted from our bank account, paid to MGM Quality Mist. There was no fine print involved with the survey. Additionaly, our banking information was not entered. I therefore assume that they accessed our banking information through our JCPenny account, which is probably illegal. We are following up on this aspect with JCPenny. These people seem to have rigged a high quality scam involving at least JCPenny and probably other legitmate businesses.
