I was solicited by a company called ' the mortgage law group located in juno beach, fl., who, after finding employment again, made me believe they could definitely help me with my modification through many newly found programs out here today. They also charged me fees in the amount of $2054.00. They reviewed my circumstances and ensured me they would be able to obtain a modification with bac through legal negotiations and the newer programs designed to help people like me, and the fees charged were for their professional services. I believed them, and tried to work through them to get yet another modification with bac.
Well that was a year ago! Durnig all this time of me working with them, they also advised me "not to try to seek assistance directly through' bac' because ' bac' would not do any business with me with my mortgage in it's current state." they also ensured me that "servicers like themselves, 'a mortgage midigatior law firm', would be my only chance in obtaining a modification of any kind at my late status of delinquecy."
being already in a state of painc, because of the time and the forclosure status, i employed them to start the modification process with 'bac'. Now one year later, and prior to my seeking councle with' bac' home loans directly; this mortgage law firm also, took my money! And did nothing for me in my behalf! They never created any correspondence with bac other than an itinal inquiry with' bac'. And most of all, all of the documents they collected from me were never turned over to bac for the purpose of a loan modification. After seven months of dealing with these people nothing was done on my behalf. I got ripped off again, taken advantage of in my current state of misfortune and most of all out of a lot of money, in the amount of $2054.00 because they did notthing but collect my documents - i want my money back in the full amoung of $2054.00 i know i shoud never pay this much for somebody to only collect documents and all the while i believed they were workign towards a modification they did nothing! Not only that, they were not licensed to conduct this type of business.in fact in research-i found out that the were a defunct debt relief company that was operating under an new name! They are a rip off intity that prey on the misfournunt of people in trouble that they know are seeking the help that i needed!!!
