International Rebates advertised that if you would sign up with them, take the steps that they commanded, they would give you a $300.00 gas card. I've gone through the full process; this process started in June. It is June and I have never gotten a $25.00 voucher from International Rebates. When you call the customer services dept you are directely sent to a recording. If you get someone on the phone, they directely send you to a reccording. No answers, no $25.00 rebate card as promised. These people are a scam and should be shut down. I will be instrumental in starting that process.
Listed are the hoops they ask you to jump through.
Completely fill out the voucher below along with your original machine printed gas sales receipts from a fuel retailer, detached and send by mail to: Redemption Center, ATTN: Gas Rebate Department, PO BOX 310, Tallevast, RL 34270. Once your receipts and voucher are received your gas rebate will be processed, please allow 8 to 10 weeks. If you have questions regarding your rebate, please call the HELP DESK at (941) 552-4072. –Return within 30 days of the above date.
This is where the whole big lie/scam comes in.
1. This offer is god for up to $300.00 in gas rebates.
2. Gas registration is only redeemable when all requirements have been met. (BIG LIE)
3. Only the original registration form will be accepted (no photocopies allowed). Registration must be mailed by the original certificate holder. Registration Form must be mailed via certified mail, along with a self addressed stamped envelope. Please allow International Rebates LLC. A minimum of 30 days to process your Registration Form. (another big lie – it took them 5 months after I called and screamed about it)
4. Once International Rebates, LLC. Has received your Registration From, we will send you a Gas Station Selection Form for you to choose your gas station along with complete details of participation. Your Gas Station Selection Form must be completed & returned to International Rebates LLC. Within 30 days of the date posted on your Selection Form. Once International Rebates LLC has processed your gas station selection from your first voucher will be mailed to you. (NOT)
5. Only original machine printed gas (leaded, unleaded or diesel) sales receipts with a legible machine printed date from a fuel retailer will be accepted. All gasoline purchases must be made using a major credit card.
6. To redeem your vouchers you must make a minimum monthly purchase of $100.00 in gasoline (at the gas station you have preselected) and send in receipts with voucher. The maximum rebate voucher value per month is $25.00 (U.S.). No future credit will be issued or accrued. Each time you mail in a Voucher and receipts it is required that you include a self addressed stamped envelope. (A total waste of a good stamp. It goes straight into the trash.)
7. Only one (1) Rebate Voucher mailed in per month will be honored. If Additional Vouchers and receipts are sent in within the same one month period, they will not be acknowledged or returned and will be declared null and void.
8. Submissions of receipts and Rebate Vouchers must be postmarked within 21 (twenty-one) days of your gasoline purchase.
9. Rebate Vouchers have no retail value and will not be accepted by fuel retailers as payment.international Rebates, LLC is not affiliated with any oil or petroleum retailers.
10. This offer is void where prohibited by law. (Actually it is void everywhere because they do not honor their promises)
11. Allow 8-10 weeks for delivery of your rebate check. (As I stated before, it’s been a year and no rebate check, no not one)
12. This registration Form & Rebate Vouchers will not be replaced if stolen or misplaced. (Because they are not going to send you one in the first place.)
13. This offer is not valid for the employees (or the families) of the sponsor of this promotion. (Will be contacting the radio station where I heard this ad and letting them know what dishonest people International Rebates are.)
14. Incomplete, illegible, or non-compliant submissions will not be acknowledge, processed or retu4rned and will void the remainder of the offer. No replacements will be issued.international Rebates, LLC. Will not be liable for lost, late, misdirected, mutilated, illegible, incomplete, stolen or destroyed registration forms. Subject to U.S.P.S. Mail fraud title 19 U.S.C. Section 1341. (Because they had no intension of honoring this offer in the first place!)
15. Offer valid only in the United States & Canada. No rebates will be mailed to addresses outside the United States or Canada. (Actually no rebates will be mailed at all, they are liars.)
16. All fulfillment of this offer is the responsibility of the merchant. (You’ll never see a dime.)
17. This program is for promotional use only and is non-transferable. It cannot be sold to the end-user. Do not rely on any representations other than those stated within this offer. Only one rebate offer allowed per household, per year. (What a big fat crock of lies. How do these people sleep at night? I am going to report them to every agency that I can find in Florida in the Federal Government. Just think; if I took the time to type all of this huge crock of lies out, I will take the time to report these crooked people.)
