Two things:
1.) I booked 3 nights in a hotel in Chiang Mai, Thailand with Agoda (a hotel booking site owned by Priceline). I accidentally clicked one person instead of two (it is the same rate for 1 or 2 people per room). I e-mailed Agoda (no 1-800 line) to ask them to correct it. They wanted to charge me $54 for a double occupancy rate.
2.) Agoda has a price match guarantee for the same room/same date/same conditions at another provider. I found a better rate at Hotels.com for the same deal and asked Agoda to match it. They told me to send it to another department so I did and no reply for 3 days.
They seem to be going through hoops to make things difficult. At this point, I would rather just cancel my two bookings with them and move on. If I can't, I would at least like them to correct the original booking for two people.
