If you are cleaning every date stemware with CLR in and area that has HARD WATER, you need to increase the amount of CLR and soak the stemware in HOT WATER, for at least one hour. With rubber gloves, you need to wet you gloves, with hot water, and wet a scotch brite Dobie, to scrub the outside of the the glass, where the majority of the hard water buildup will occur. After scrubbing, rinse again with HOT water, and place them in your dish washer with finish. The Calcium build will be gone.
CLR does not remove Calcium buildup like magic. I have REALLY OLD CRYSTAL in my home, However, I will not tell you my formula for removing calcium buildup on that.
I am a clean freak, and you really need to have your chemist get on board.
