I received a call from Higher Impact about a home-based website business. It sounded like a great opportunity for me since I am at home all the time because of a disability and could use the extra money. They sent me a start up packet which was nothing but junk. (a few papers and a small booklet) Since I received the packet, I tried to call them numerous times and all I got was an answering machine telling me that the box is full try again later. After 6 months of calls and no reply, I called my bank to stop them from taking anymore money out of my account every month. I am trying to get a refund of $92.49 but I cannot even get a hold of them! I had some help from my banker to get in touch with the BBB to see if they can help. I know $92.49 doesn't sound like a lot of money but when you receive a disability check, every penny counts!
