It took me a while, but I finally figured out what a scam this company is running. They call you every six months, saying they can get you a discount magazine subscription. After some hard sell tactics, you agree because you think they are calling from the publication. They are not. Then they call you again. This time, when I saw a $200 charge on my credit card, I called TV guide. The gentleman I spoke to said I was renewed so far in advance they couldn't advance me anymore. They tried the same thing with my Newsweek.
I called them and left a nasty message to cancel my charge. I also called the credit card company and they are disputing the charge. The company called me back saying they will credit my card and the subscription is cancelled.
From now on, I will only renew subscriptions directly with the publication. Never again with these scam artists. They had a good run getting my money. But now more. Find another person to rip off.
