Over the past five years we bought 4 HD receivers... We then moved to another area and went with a local cable company. I was told by the local business where we bought the receivers that they were mine to keep. I have the recepts after 35 calls to directv and threats from directv we sent them back... We were told by one rep from directv that there we some business selling the equipment for extra cash but it was a directv business... Terrible business to deal with. You can call directv ask a question call back again and get a different answer to the same question
