Visiting the Lenscrafters in the Visalia Mall 5 was a pleasant experience. First, I had a complete eye exam and was treated with respect and really enjoyed the experience. I had to get a new prescription. I told the woman helping me that I wanted to use my current Tommy Hilfiger frames and my current sunglasses. I had spent a lot of money on them and they still were in perfect condition. I came back a few days later (and saw a different associate). As she was adjusting my new lenses into my frame. SNAP, she broke my frames! I was a bit shocked but figured, heck, she can fix them. NOPE, she couldn't! This is where I'm appalled at this business... She told me that I had to take the glasses that SHE broke to have them repaired and it was going to cost me $30!!! They wouldn't even reimburse me even though, SHE broke the frames! I was shocked. I left.
A few days later I called and asked to speak to the manager (Joy Aujla). Hoping she could clear it up. She gave me the run around! She told me that I had to wait until the associate that was helping me came back to work. Isn't she the manager? Isn't she suppose to rectify the situation. All I'm asking for is a $30 reimbursement fee for having to take MY glasses somewhere else to be fixed!
I will tell everyone I know to NEVER go to Lenscrafters again! It's worth paying for an expensive LOCAL optometrist. You can trust them that if anything goes wrong, they will fix it!
