I received a text message from ph no. 00353864063273 stating that my mobile number had won 900,000 pounds in the Global Communications Award 2012. To claim prize email claimcode WMA2012 to globe. [email protected]. I did this and have received three emails from an Attorney named in the first email. These emails have been asking for personal information (including age and sex) for receiving the 900,000 pounds. This attorney is suggesting that he needs power of attorney to allocate the prize cheque. I have found the named attorney and the company he works for in Stampford in UK on the net. And it seems he works in a division dealing with the elderly. Very suspect. Obviously I am not going any further with this as it is not hard to see where this would end up. Also the Global Communications Award 2012 does exist but does not have any public awards or rewards that I could find.
