Got a letter in the mail today saying I had won 130,000.00 and enclosed was a check for 3,750.00 to enable me to pay the nonresident tax of 1,950.00 to the UK. And it gave me a number 1-289-807-0011 to call for further directives. The company name they gave to call is Camelot Group and the contact person is harry Coleman (international claim agent). The check looks real and is drawn off of the Bank of New York Mellon in Butler, PA 16001 and It also on the top right of the check it has PREMERICA LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY. I know it is not real because of the other scams like this on line but thought I should let people know I also got one and beware it looks real.
