I paid for what I understood to be a 30 day trial. I have subsequently discovered that I must either pay for the 3 products (£112.50) or cancel and return half of them. Even if I do so, Nutrascience are insisting on taking payment from my account on day 14 which will then be apparently returned. I have complained to the company and they have asserted that "it is not a 30 day trial." This is somewhat disingenuous as they are supplying 30 day's worth of products whilst maintaining it is not a 30 day trial. The company has also stated that it does not state on the website that the supply is free. This is completely untrue. It states on the first page and repeatedly that this is a "Free Trial." After the first paragraph it states "Click here to get your FREE Nutrascience Trial." Free is even written in capitals. Further down the page in bold your website states "Claim your free trial bottle." A few paragraphs further and again "Click here to get your FREE Nutrascience Trial." On the right hand side of the page the website states twice "Get your free trial now." This is blatantly misleading given there is no free trial and the company is seeking to force customers to pay for the product unless they return at least 50% of it.
Nutrascience state that the offer is to try Promaxtrim and target slim and Pro cleanse for 14 days before you pay. It would therefore be accurate to state to customers instead of "FREE trial" rather that "you can purchase these products and delay paying for them for 14 days." This of course is an entirely different offer and I certainly would not have proceeded with the purchase.
I have seen other consumer feedback regarding Nutrascience and have already found a significant number of complaints about the company. It is clear that many people feel deceived by its advertising. A website "can you trust them" has 59 complaints about your company. A website "consumerhealthanswers" states that Nutrascience is untrustworthy. This website "scambook" has 134 complaints about Nutrascience. Any reputable company would be embarrassed by such appalling reviews and seek immediately to rectify the situation.
It is noticeable that Nutrascience is still seeking to claim further money from me even though I have cancelled my order which is firstly, outrageous and secondly, illegal. The company has indicated that payment will be taken on day 14 and then apparently refunded if the goods are returned. This is not stated in the terms and conditions and the company has absolutely no right to do so. I am willing to join others in initiating legal proceedings against this company for false advertising.
