Little girls in shorts and t-shirt came to the door asking for magazine subscriptions. She said magazines would go to needy children and she would get points for a trip to Europe, she stated she was points leader. Lowest subscription was $40.00 and I told her I was unwilling to donate more than $20.00 I wrote a check and she asked for cash, any amount would do. I wrote the check and looked at her receipt and where she had left the "cash" field empty, I placed a "$0". She then returned my check. I asked for a copy of the receipt, which she was unwilling to do. I then asked that all my information be made illegible and she wrote all over my name and address. She then left. I this had really been a charity I would hope that any dollar donation would be acceptable. For a little girl she used a lot of high pressure sales techniques.
