A random charge for $10.11 from www.everingame.com posted to the "Pending Charges" of my Regions Checking Account. I called Visa (Regions) and had the card cancelled. The Regions account representative said that a formal complaint can only be filed after the charge clears; she then told me to call the fraudulent merchant to try and get the charge reversed (ha ha). If you persistently call the 1-800 number on the www.everingame.com website (1-805-263-4524) and listen to Vivaldi's "Four Seasons", you will eventually be connected to a woman with the same voice from the introductory recording, who will state that her name is Emma, Emily, or Mary, just to name a few. Make sure you call from different phone numbers (home, cell, etc.) and then *67 (block) those respective numbers. Ask about the bogus charge with no forseeable delivery of product (black PSP cover, which seems to be the common denominator in all of the filed online complaints). They will want the last four digits of your cancelled credit/debit card to look up the transaction. Mysteriously, they will know your first and last name and your physical address. At this point, you need to ask these thieves to reverse the charge and demand that they disclose their physical address upon which they will terminate the call. Afterward, file an online complaint with the FBI cyber crime division (www.ic3. Gov). These people are making small charges to bank accounts in smaller amounts (not including overdraft fees to some), but if this occurs to hundreds or even thousands of people, the final sum will be quite enormous. Follow these steps and harass the www.everingame.com customer representative if you have the time.
