My Mother's checking account was charged for an electronic check payment of $448.74. She is 89. I tried to ask her whether she authorized anything over the phone and she said she already had medical coverage. Also said maybe it was something related to prescriptions and a monthly fee. The check copy says there is a recorded voice authorization of her if you call 855-581-9857 to listen. I tried to do that and ended up in a loop with a beep and no recording. This breaks my heart. She was taken advantage of and there is so little I can do to protect her and still allow her freedom of having a phone and helping with her finances. How can people live with themselves? I want justice.
