I received a text message on my cell phone saying "Dear WalMart Shopper, congratulations you have just won a $1000 Gift card" In this text, to receive my gift cart I need to click the $1000 to link up to claim my card, or to link up to www.MyWMart.com to tell them to quit. I called Jennifer at my local WalMart to ask about this text and she told me it was a scam. After I thanked her, I clicked the www.MyWMart.com to tell them to quit and I could not pull up the link. I have a Smart Phone with unlimited talk, text, & web, so I have a REAL ISSUE with this. Now, because they texted my phone and I could not tell them to quit, these people are going to keep sending me text!!! I am a busy person, now that they have my cell phone number, they will nodought continue to text me. This is a violation of my privacy, as well as time comsuming. I took the time to research this online as well as calling the store and finally submitting this report costing me a lot of time, energy, and aggrivation. Should I receive one more text I will have not alternitive but to state a figure for MONETARY DAMAGES! Thank You, Karen Gremli
