I went to this web site to reserve a rental car at the New Orleans, La. Airport. The site showed several rental car agencies at the Airport and prices for their cars. But there was no where on the site that actually stated it was charging a fee to reserve the car. After booking the reservation I got a detailed Confirmation. I'd assumed they would charge me the entire fee for the car rental because I provided my credit card information, but they didn't. I expected it to work like some Hotel reservations sites. At the end of the itemized pricing for the rental there is a $22 credit stating "Less deposit payable upon confirmation". After seeing my credit card charged for this amount, I called them and told them their site doesn't show anything stating I would be billed for a deposit. Then they said it was for colision issurance that I select when choosing the car, which I did, but there is no where in the contract that states this $22 is for colision insurance. I didn't expect them to bill me for anything, after reading the confirmation information and learning that I would have to pay Enterprise. So I accepted Enterprises collision insurance. And again this web sited doesn't indicate that the $22 I was being charged is for colision insurance. The actual web site is www.carrentalrepublic.com.
