My mom has been looking for a job and I saw the job posting on craigslist and thought it looked like a good job for her. I helped her send her resume via email. When I got home from work she was soooo excited! She told me they had replied back to her already and had the email pulled up for me. The first thing that concerned me was the fact I had not heard of the company before. The second thing that bothered me was the fact that the email stated the pay was for 18-20 dollars an hour when the job posting had listed 14.95, especially when it has no requirements for education. I went ahead and clicked the link within the email and read the front page instructions for filling out the application. I told my mom that no legitimate employer would require you to fill out an online application containing all your personal information. While some companies do allow you to fill out online applications, they usually give you locations where you may pick up or submit applications as well. I looked up Parker Group and found all different types of businesses, etc. Tried looking up Parker Group 5hr and did not get any exact matches. Finally, looked up Davis and Parker and found this website. I'm so sorry for my mom. This is actually the second job this week, also the first two jobs she has looked into, that were bum. At least the other one was actually a real job. A job claiming to be a customer service job that was actually a door to door sales job, but a job. It is really sad when even looking for a job is dangerous.
