Used this from Ruth's post on 3/17. SAME EXACT THING happened to me!
NOTE: this is a *two-part scam. First is *Parker and Davis (looks like employment but probably isn't at all). Second is *creditreport.com, which goes under at least three other names: Experian, Equifax, and Transunion.
I applied to some very legit-looking jobs on craigslist. I must've gotten some bogus ones, because it ended up sending me to a credit-score acquiring website. Unfortunately, I didn't figure it out until I continued on the Davis and Parker website to the last page and clicked on the link that went to the credit-score site.
Please note that the credit-score website shifted around three to four times before ending up on one of the two websites I listed below. I'm going to go clean my computer after this. It's probably busting out the seams with tracking cookies and who knows what else.
