This scam began with emails reporting sweepstakes win from UK and has continued for several months. Today received letter dated 2/20 with a check for above amount in my name. Bank name check is: Fifth Third Bank from Indianapolis, Indiana. The checking account is: Subaru of Indiana Automotive Inc, located in Lafayette, IN 47903. Routing # 00174874; acct # 042100272; check #174874; dated 4/20. Check's purpose is for me to pay the nonresident tax of 1,980. To the UK. Letter with check has a Canadian post mark.in the end I should receive secon check for balance of winnings $81,080.00USD in 24-48 hours via Fed Ex. I. M sick of thse jerks wasting my time and energy!
