When will i received the 26 years of shares my father to me

My father die in i forgot about the shares he had, with metlife inusurance company until i found his name in the unclaimed property, for illinois and there was the 26 years of shares. I have send all information to claim it but. I have not received the shares has of yet. I started it in may and now it is all most may. Again still have not received anything yet where is my father shares.
