$778.00 worth of TV?! - and inaccurate bill

I purchased Direct TV in early fall of 2010. For a while the service was pretty good. THen the channels that were promised started disappearing before the promotions were up. Long short, I ended up with a few local and cable channels with a bunch of repeats. After losing part of my income I needed to downgrade. But if I did I would be paying 59.00 a month for just local channels. I disconnected my service and due to my disabilities I couldn't get the boxes back shortly after I stopped using them. Well... They sent me a box by Fed X and I was glad cause I really didn't know how to get things going for the return. At least with other companies you can usually take their equipment to them and that part is over. I mailed the equipment to them but three weeks later they debted my account for 364.00 and said they never received the equipment. I had my bank to debut the charges only for Direct TV to go back into my account three days later and take another 387.00. Because direct tv bills a month in advance I only owed them for a partial months service. I have checks flying everywhere. My account is ruined. I said all this to say: don't give direct tv or any other company for that matter access to your account unless you know they are creditable and of good standing with the consumer population.
