I got a call from a lady who said she was with the U.S. Government, she said I was reward'ed a grant to start a kettle corn buisness. She then gave me a phone number and told me to talk to a jeff obrian (sorry i don't care if misspell his name). I call'ed, left a message and about a hour later he call'ed. He told me I was going to get the grant but i had to show in detail where and how the money would be spent and show that the buisness could run on this money for at least four months. So my wife and i spent about a week getting all the info, we called jeff back and he told us we hade to pay a grant writer $487.00 to write up the packet and then they would submit it to the government. Well when he said money my wife started doing reserch on cooper financial services, and what we found, they seem'ed on the up and up. Even the B.B.B. Gave them an A-, so we call'ed jeff back and told him we did'nt have that kind of money because i was laid off and i was starting this buisness for my main income. He told us he would try getting us a extra week to come up with the money, well we sold stuff and came up with the money, call'ed jeff told him and then he said to send a certified check to the address in florida and in the grant writers name. So, we got that sent off as fast as we could hopeing it was'nt to late to still get the grant. We then called jeff and told him we had just put the check in the mail, he told us he would send us contract to sign and said we would get the grant or get our money back, they help'ed alot of people and 99% get the grant, we thought, cool, this company is really good at what they do. Well we wait'ed for jeff to call and give us an update and we never heard from him so i called and asked if there was anything we could do to help or if he or the grant writer needed any more info, he then told me he was getting promoted to a grant writer and someone would be getting in touch with us in a week. So, about a week and a half went by, nothing, two weeks, nothing, so i called, the phone is out of service, try back later. The next day, same thing. So i thought i would call the lady from government to see if i could get another number from her to get ahold of someone to see whats going on, her number was disconnected. I got on the computer to look up cooper finance to get another number and came across this site, i can'explain how i felt at that time. All i know now is two things have been taken from me and my wife, $487.00 and a dream. Those people (could think of something better), but, those people took both from us and never gave it a second thought. I never thought this could happen to me, $487.00 is alot of money to lose when you can't afford it. I have nothing else to sale to get my dream buisness started, i hope they are proud of what they done to me and it looks like so many more. Take it from me, if it sounds to good to be true& it is.
