It seems to be a recurring theme at this particular Walmart that checkout lanes are at a premium. Your only choice is self service because they don't bother opening any extra lanes. I think they should have a disclaimer at the door that says: In order for you to save money we are going to eliminate customer service. At least you know ahead of time and if you make that choice, it's your problem. It's bad enough that you're cutting hours or eliminating a paycheck for someone in hopes that people will use self serve, but you're giving poor customer service as well.
