My wife took up the offer of a Free Sample of HCG Diet Supplements and had to pay only postage and packaging of £4.95. The sent 2 seperate envelopes, one with hcg liquid and one with pure natural tablets and charged us £4.95 postage for one and £4.99 postage for the other.
We returned them as return to sender after calling HCG Platinum and explaining that my wife was unable to use them due to a medical condition and they said they wouldn't send anymore or charge us anymore but told us to wait 8 days and phone again to cancel. My wife phoned again 8 days later and they assured her she had no subscription and that no more money would be taken. They have now sent another packet of 60 pure natural pills and taken £99.95 from our bank account. When she called them again they said that she'd waited more than 14 days to cancel so that was why we'd been charged even though the pills were despatched exactly 13 days after the free trial was ordered and she'd also been told to wait 8 days after receipt before phoning to cancel. Our bank say it is a subscription so even if they cancel the bank card hcg can still continue to take money. We've e-mailed and phoned them but don't believe they have actually cancelled or will stop taking money. Fraudsters.
