I tipped them off and they covered their tracks by directing me to call ScoreSense and report the scam. Had I acted naive, they probably would have asked me for the unique ScoreSense ID number, for which they would have had 100% access to my credit report.
While I did my due diligence of reporting them to ScoreSense and ScoreSense promptly cancelled the account and took a report on this incident.
