Purchased a RUN and DRIVE vehicle that had a seized engine. Oil filter had 2 holes punctured on the end, and as the vehicle was being tested, it was run dry of oil and subsequently seized. Apparently they do not check oil levels when testing and if the are fluids leaking they do not pay any attention to them. The testers are basically photographers, with no mechanical ability other than to understand how to put a boost on the battery.
They leave the engine running while they take the pictures.

Spoke to Alan Hardwick in Toronto and and he is unwilling to do anything to resolve this issue. It is against Company Policy to compensate for misleading or false information posted on their website during the auction process. He disagrees with my assertion that the whole reason for the RUN and DRIVE test is to entice bidders to increase their bid amounts.

Not sure how or why this outfit can get away with posting misleading and incorrect data on its website and not have any responsibility for compensating folks when they have an error.

Someone, either in the legal system or the Government should be investigating this operation for a variety of questionable business tactics. Somehow I hope this operation gets a wakeup call.

If anyone knows of a Class-Action going against these thugs, please let me know.
